Flagship School to Work study visits in Gävle

In March there will be two events organized by the Flagship School to Work.

The first study visit of the year will take place in Gävle, Sweden. The first seminars organized by the Knowledge Platform of Integration of Newly Arrived Refugees will take place in Rostock, Germany.

Study visit to City of Gävle from 12th to 14th of March
If you are a teacher, youth worker, education or welfare specialist, or work in NGO, municipality or any public institution, you will have a great chance to get an insight in methods and measures that contribute to inclusive environment at schools, especially, in regards to incentives that prevent early school leaving at upper secondary school. In addition to this, you would also have a look at inclusive and rehabilitative activities for young people who are neither in education, nor employment or training.
Themes of the study visit are:

  1. Prevention of early school leaving (measures and activities at schools and municipalities),
  2. Ways of cooperation regarding NEETs (strategic decisions, one stop shops and holistic approach),
  3. Solutions for education and career counselling.
